Engagement Wardrobe Ideas

Not sure what to wear for your engagement shoot?

Don’t worry, I got you covered! Here is where you should start when it comes to your engagement shoot planning:

The Basics

  1. Plan ahead! Nobody likes scrambling at the last minute for the perfect outfit. Give yourself some time!
  2. Think about the season you’re shooting in. Engagement shoots are usually around an hour long, so dress properly so you aren't freezing or boiling.
  3. Be YOU! I know Pinterest is like..the best, but remember these photos are meant to project you!

Since Pinterest is quick, easy and accessible to nearly everyone on a smart phone, I’ve put together a board of outfit ideas for you. For all my couples, I recommend a casual and a dressy outfit. The casual outfit is what you will arrive in to your shoot with me. This gives you the chance to be a little more at ease and for us to get to know each other without the stress of high heels and retying ties!

For your dressy outfit, flowy dresses or skirts for the ladies with a clean business casual look for the gentlemen is a winning combination. By this time, we are hitting that golden hour in the PNW and what better scenery for an epic romance shot?
